From Puerto Montt we start our trip to the beautiful town of Puerto Varas where we stop to look around and catch the views across the lake to Volcano Osorno as well as stopping at the handcraft market. From here we visit the picturesque town called Frutillar, founded by the first German colonists. Again a look around along the lakeside where there are many typical German houses and a visit is made to the German Colonial Museum , with its typical architecture and furniture from when the first Germans arrived to the area.
We continue the trip continuing around the lake to the little village of Puerto Octay , surrounded by green fields and the attentive watch of the Osorno volcano. There are many examples of old traditional country houses and daily scenes of the rural life of this area.

Continuing to the village of Las Cascadas located on the base of Volcano Osorno, where we'll go into the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park , on the southeast side of the lake.
Here a stop is made at Laguna Verde close to Ensenada before visiting the waterfalls at Petrohue and then returning to Puerto Varas along the southern edge of the lake.
