Fuerte Bulnes

Departure from Punta Arenas, heading South we will cross approximately 60 km, arriving at Bulnes Fort, an interesting historical attraction. Along the way we will see Agua Fresca, Punta Santa Ana, a set of typical constructions and stranded ships. We will also observe the characteristic wild life of our region. Near Bulnes Fort, we will see the monolith that represents indicating Chile 's Geographic Center (from Arica to the South Pole), and to the east, Puerto del Hambre, Hunger Port.

To the west we will see San Juan River , a picnic and fishing area. Finally, we will visit Bulnes Fort (reconstructed in 1943), that commemorates the possession from the Strait of Magellan in 1843.

Return to Punta Arenas . Optionally, you may visit the Andean Punta Arenas Club, and enjoy its magnificent panoramic view of the Strait of Magellan .
